Much less fragile than glass, consider swapping the plain glass in your frames with these sheets to make them better for public use.  Nielsen Bainbridge Non-Glare Styrene Sheets are also great when shipping artwork. 

Sheets have a protective film on both sides that prevents scratches and smudges. The film should be removed before displaying your art.
